I handed my phone for repairs at Cell C Benoni on the 19th of March 2013 (ref: clc907360). I was advised that I should come and collect it in the next 2 weeks. I called the Benoni branch on the 02 April and gentleman called Taren advised that I need to confirm a quote which I did not know about.
I replied on the same day and accepted the quote. 7 days later when I inquire, I am told that I still need to accept the quote. The excuse I get is that he was not told that I had accepted the quote. What is still not clear to me is that what happed to the 2 year warranties of the device. I will pay the R1, 179.41 I am in a fix and I need a phone urgently. I will remember the treatment I am getting now 8 months down the line when someone calls me and ask me if I want to upgrade my contract. I will vote with my money one of these days. Backberry and Cell C are a Bad, bad combination.
