I went to Key west branch to downgrade from a talk 1000 to talk 500. I explicitly asked first if there will be penalties and after the sales persons checked he confirmed that there will be NO PENALTY. I also changed the Bes to a Bis and removed sms bundle and cancel my 3g that is old. Now a few weeks later I checked online and see that I now have to pay R650 penalty per month also the Bes was not changed to a Bis and the sms bundle is still there and the 3g still. Nothing was done except to load the penalty after it was confirmed there will be nothing. Now is this incompetence or did they just blatantly to me about the penalty? It now cost me the same to be on a 500 with penalty than it cost me on the 1000 but without the extra minutes... I know so many people that have issues with Autopage they are now worse than Telkom.
