No ADSL Infrastructure in a CITY?! World class

I recently moved homes and upon trying to activate my ADSL service for my new home I got the following message from Telkom:

"Investigation reveals insufficient infrastructure in your area, technical feasibility being investigated."

I find it appalling that a company who markets their internet service as "awesome" cannot even provide a ADSL connection to a residential property in an established suburb in the middle of one of the 6 major cities in South Africa. How on earth is that even possible?! Instead they waste their time upgrading ADSL line speeds when they cannot even provide the service to everyone...

Congratulations Telkom, well done. That's how you plan and install your sophisticated infrastructure network...

Telkom: Touch tomorrow? What a joke! More like touch absolutely NOTHING...
