BB buttons freezing, Vodacom claims water damage!

I took my BB to Vodacom repairs in Alberton on Saturday. The phone is 6 months old and since month 2 has been giving me problems. The menu button and answer button freezes up and I cannot answer calls or go into my menu to check messages etc. A lady from the store called me now to tell me that I have to pay R800-00 to have the phone repaired-.reason: water damage!! I am horrified!! I have looked after that phone so well, I have never dropped the phone in water or exposed it to water in any way. I had the same problem with another BB prior to this and my service provider was MTN at the time. They told me the same thing and I accepted it. (bathroom mist) I learnt my lesson from that experience and have been very careful with this phone. I am totally shocked by this and there is no way that Im paying for water damage when I know it has not been exposed to any water. Please Vodacom accept the fault of the phone and stop looking for a way out! This is my 3rd Blackberry and I've had the same problem with all phones. It has always been a problem with BB, now the service providers also want to back out of fixing the handsets. Totally unacceptable!
