CONTRACT NOTICE

In Feb 2013 I called the MTN Call Centre to give notice on my contract and was told that it was only due for cancellation on 30 May 2013. The contract was started on 27/12/2000 - had various upgrades in the interim - one being done on 27/9/2009 (3 months before the contract was due). The next upgrade I only did on 17 April 2011 (7 months after expiry of the contract). I went to MTN N1 City on 6 March 2013 where they assisted me by phoning the Call Centre (Pearl Ndobe) who promised to send me a copy of the contract showing me that it would only expire in May 2013. I received an email stating that I owed MTN R507-00 - please note that I have a debit order in place that has been paid religiously for years. I heard nothing from MTN regarding my contract so went to MTN Canal Walk on 23 March 2013 and spoke to Louis Blom who also promised to get back to me asap. I then received an SMS message stating that my contract had expired on 11/3/2013. Went back to MTN where I was advised to call again. I phoned today and am still being told that my contract only expires in May 2013. I want to port because of this kind of service!!!
