I wanted to Trade Up my iPhone 4S to the new iPhone 5 as are being advertised on page 13 of the Vodacom March Edition, but when I came to my local Vodacom shop the sales assistant informed me that the Trade Up was only for new or Upgrade contracts. I informed him that the advertisement said "Available on new and upgrade contracts" and not "restricted to" or "only available on new and upgrade contracts"! He was really very helpful and advised me to phone Vodacom call centre which I did but the sales assistant informed me that I needed to call the sales department on 0821950 to resolve this as he was not in a position to assist me regarding this query. For the rest of the day I tried to no avail to contact the sales. The terms and conditions on page 29 also did not give clarity regarding this Trade Up requirements. As a current Vodacom contract customer I feel disappointed in that all my hopes regarding this Trade Up have now been dashed due to this advertisement being ambiguous.
