Wrong Information Sent and Now MY NUMBER IS GONE

I was sent an sms by 8.ta, stating the following: 8.ta! The 8.ta more prepaid plan now offers even MORE rewards. Every time 8ta more subscribers recharge with R5 or more, they will get the same amount FREE. Twice the airtime. Same money. Although you are not currently an 8ta more subscriber, you can choose to move by simply dialling *180#, selecting 5 and following the prompts. Ts&Cs apply), this was sent on the 04/03/2013. Thinking that sounded good I did what they requested, I dialed the number, selected 5 was given the prompt to change my tariff, which I did to number 2 thinking its promotional as indicated and insinuated in the text. I then stopped receiving calls, thinking there might only be a delay of some sort. I then approched a branch in Shelly Beach and they told me my number is now for data only and they can not change my number back. I'm a financial advisor and have lost contact now with my clients, I have to reprint all my business cards try and get hold of the clients I have and try and correct this mess. I'm loosing money like this as you might know advisors need to be accessible to their clients 24/7. I think this a terrible promotional sms that cost me money
