This is my second complaint in 1 week about mtn for poor service delivery, I have still not had feedback from mtn and do not expect any as I can see how shocking the service is from the amount of complaints on this site.
A month ago I claimed from mtn insurance as my handset was damaged, after two weeks of not hearing a thing i phoned mtn insurance to find that the claim had been processed and I need to get a new handset.
I immediately went to the mtn clearwater branch to collect and pay in for my new handset (I have to pay in as mtn under insured my handset by R3000). I was told that they do not have stock of the iphone 5 and they will take down my name and call me as soon as it arrives which should be by the end of the week. I keep phoning day to day to see if they haver stock and no body knows when they will receive. Yet the istore and other mtn shops have ample stock. I have busy using a loan phone from mtn that keeps dropping signal and freezing, this phone is supposed to be returned to mtn after 6 weeks
Could I not get the insurance cash and go get the phone from somewhere else, hopefully a place that actually knows what customer service is?
