Signed up for a new ASDL package with Mweb. Opted to purchase a new router at same time. Router was delivered via courier but when installed line kept dropping. When removing new router and putting old router back line is stable. Conclusion is line is okay router is issue. Since the 25th February have been trying to get someone at Mweb to agree to swap it out even though we returned it to Cresta outlet within the 7 days as per the CPA legislation.

Store said they had no authority to comply with law, seems conclusion is they rae empowered to disobey law which is what they are now doing.

I have logged calls with call center, it has been escalated but 4 calls later, lots of promises no follow up.

I have now decided to package router up return to them and also at same time cancel my data contract.

My advice is if anyone wants ADSL dont please dont use MWEB.

They dont care about customers.
