Poor Service/Unacceptable Customer Care

I went to the Vodacom store based in Clearwater at the beginning of February 2013. I had a prepaid number and had that converted to a contract number. I chose a phone which was the Sony Xperia T. I had the phone for approximately 16 days when it went completely dead. I tried charging the phone and it did not come on. I was without a phone for an entire day. When I took it to the dealership they then advised that they would have to send it to the technician at the repair centre and they would have to have a look. I was then advised by Damian who was my point of contact that the phone had been returned. He advise that the software for the phone had been downloaded again onto the phone. The store has sold quite a few of these handsets and this is the first phone with the problem. I asked for them to give me a guarantee that this would not happen again and they unfortunately cannot do this. I have asked for the handset to be replaced because it seems that this is a faulty phone and they refuse. I asked Damian to get the store manager to call me. The store manager did not even have the decency of calling me back, she asked Damian to phone and give me the message. This is poor sevice!
