In Nov 2012 I applied for an upgrade on my MWEB Account, from iBurst Internet to the All Inclusive ADSL Internet-package. The employee informed me that it will take up to 6 weeks to be set up and ready.
In Jan 2013, I followed up with MWEB. They informed me that no application have been lodged from their side, thus no progress of my request. Once again, I applied for an upgrade with the exact same conditions. MWEB informed me that my iBurst will first be cancelled (it will take 2 - 3 weeks) and only after it have been cancelled, the ADSL can be installed (which will take another 3 - 6 weeks). They assured me it will be up-and-running on 1 March 2013.
I agreed with the manager that the ADSL should FIRST be installed before my iBurst is cut off, as I can't work without internet from my home.
On the 1st of March 2013 I called MWEB to follow up. I was informed that the application was once again not lodged, but it is lodged now and that it will take 3 weeks to install the ADSL. My iBurst has been stopped (not as per agreement) and now I sit without internet, without ADSL and I still get billed for my account?
This is unprofessional and poor service from MWEB!!! I'm fed-up!
