One of my mtn contracts recently came to its end of term and I decided not to continue with an upgrade but to convert the number to prepaid. I called the call center on friday 1 March and was told that this was sorted out and it would take 24hrs to move the number to prepaid ref number 97544776. This did not happen as promised so I followed up the call on sunday 3rd March and was told there was a technical error on the network which caused the delay.
I called the call center back yesterday and was told that it was sorted and the number is on prepaid but after checking, this was not the case...
This has caused a huge inconvenience to me since I cannot even load airtime on this phone or make use of it till the number is converted to prepaid.
Please help!
