Millicent from Vodacom Rewards contacted me and confirmed that I can extend my contract and receive a Samsung Galaxy iii LTE for a minimal amount extra per month. She confirmed that once I get the phone my new Micro Sim will be activated and the old one will no longer work. She also confirmed that I can get 1G Internet for approximetely R 89.00 extra. When I received the phone the SIM swop was not activated and I had to wait to be able to go into a Vodacom shop to do so. I went to Vodacom in Centurion Mall and they advised me that on my contract I cannot get a LTE phone and that Millicent gave me the incorrect phone. So they have to collect the old one and give me a new phone. I have been trying to get through to that departmentb today with NO luck and have now left a message for a manager to call me back. In the interim Vodacom have also advised me that it will cost me approximetly R 280.00 extra a month for 1G and not R89.00 as Millicent advised. The first call was made on 20 February and I still cannot use my new phone. I am shocked at the service that Vodacom are giving me and I will be moving to another service provider should this not be sorted today!!!
