I reported a complaint on 1 Feb 2013 regarding my Sony Ericson X10mini ref number: Hellopeter complaint PC-ZHK9-277HT (1000498) that was given to Vodacom to repair but still have not received back after 3 months.
On the 11 Feb Vodacom repair send me an email with pictures as proof of liquid damage to my phone - quoting out of the email they send:
"On the previous job 8356500, the unit was booked on 23/11/2012 software was done at Vodacare Menlyn and the unit was sent back to be collected on the 25/11/2012.
The unit was only re-booked after that job on the 07/12/2012 job 8397876 where upon assessment liquid was found on the devcie."
I send an email to highlighted out that I never receive my phone back from Oct 2012 - therefore the liquid damage happened while in the hands of Vodacom. The email also quote:
"Also note that according to the system the IMEI number has been in use in december after collection."
After bringing above under Vodacom's attention on the 13 Feb 2013 - up to date I still have not receive any communication or feedback on the way forward. I have a contract with NO phone for 4 months now - and still no solution to the problem as reported.
