My Step Dad is an 85 year old pensioner who is unlucky enough to be tied into a Cell C contract, which should cost R80 a month but is costing up to R900 per month due to charges that CellC are not able to quantify or explain! There are charges for Opera, Mirror, SMS net - some of which cost up to R7.90 per item but CellC say he is requesting the information but they cannot tell him what actions he is taking to get these charges?
He has been to the Umhlanga Cell C branch numerous times for assistance, which is not an easy task as he is in a wheelchair and has to take oxygen with him, but they are not able to help? I have tried to call the Call Centre for assistance for weeks but I don't believe anyone actually works there as after holding for hours I have never managed to speak to anyone.
This is not fair - how can you sleep at night from a pensioner.
Please could someone at CellC, who has any ethics, assist me with this problem.
