I discovered on Monday evening that my voicemail was not working probably for some time as had many missed calls and no messages. Tried Customer services - held on at times for 20 minutes with no luck. Went into MTN shop in Hyde Park and it took them an hour and half to restore it (apparently they have to hold on for their own customor service as well - no special access). Voicemail finally reinstated. Worked last night and early this morning and now disappeared again. So phone just rings and rings and then rings off. Told I need to go through whole procedure again but dont have the time to hold on for hours or time to go into MTN shop. Anyway, what is the fundamental problem ie why does it disappear after reinstatement. This is my work number. What are you meant to do. Reinstate it every day!! Please dont give me one of those generic meaningless responses. Address the dual problem: 1. MTN voicemail just disappearing repeatedly - why??? 2. Customer services clearlly dont have enough people answering the phone - it is unacceptable for it to take hours to sort out problems!!!
