Cancellation of Contract

I cant believe how incompatent the staff at vodacom is, My contract ends on the 05th of March 2013 I call vodacom on the 28/02/2013 to let them know i want to terminate my contract on Termanation date with is the 05/03/2013 they tell me I cant do this cause im going to loose my free mintues. So i say thats okay I dont want the free minutes just cancel my contract on Termanation date the consultant then advise she cant do this i can only cancle my contract at the end of March, so what i dont understand is why I cant cancel my contract on Termanation date. I went into the vodacom store in Canal Walk the 09th of Feb to give them instrution to cancel my contract and they indicated it will termanate on the 05/03/2013. I decide to call them today just to ensure that its will be termanated I get told a different story. I cant understand why my contract cant be terminated on the termanation date. I am so sick of the service at vodacom
