I have been trying to transfer my domain away from Cybersmart for months now.
I first gave notice to Cybersmart to this effect on the 26 of November 2012.
They responded that I should just follow their instructions for doing so - which I did - without the desired effect.
They insist on making contact with my new domain name registrar - I am not inclined - or obliged - to reveal to them my preferred domain registrar - after all I want to end them as administrators of my domain and hosts of my webspace.
When I asked them for the login details and uri for me to change the administrator / email address so I can begin the transfer - they told me that this was not possible.
I asked then on 11, 15 and 20 of this month - Feb 2013 - to effect the changes and to let me know when it has been done. They have failed to do so - but still insist on billing me fo service I don't want.
Cybersmart's refusal to cooperate to allow me to transfer my domain to my preferred domain name registrar is costing me in many ways - the least of which is double charges for domain name fees and web space fees - which I don't feel is fair for me to shoulder any longer - after all it is my domain - not theirs!
