I posted a report here on Saturday 8 Feb 2013, complaining that after I attempted to return a haiwei wifi e5331 router for running extremely slow I was refused. Since then I received a comment on hello peter that 8ta has contacted the branch manager. However 7 days has passed and no-one from 8ta has contacted me. I don't really care what 8ta's dealings are with the branch manager, as long as I receive the required service.
8ta is in violation of the consumer protection act as they will not refund me for an inferior product that does not function to specification - namely the haiwei wifi e5331 router. Yet no-one from the shop has contacted me and even after posting on this website still no-one has contacted me to enquire about the problem. I guess 8ta does not care. This will definitely be my last dealing with them.
However I still need my money back for their inferior product. I guess my next step would be to check how I excercise my rights in terms of the consumer protection act.
