Why stay with MTN if I dont get service

Ive upgraded the 23 January recieving an OBF phone with a lot of arguments they gave me a new phone, not even a week having the new phone ive noticed that i cant recieve pictures or even open my picture library. so ive asked the mtn personell to have a look, after having the technical guys assisting them over the phone, they told me the phone needs to be wiped so we've wiped the phone. Not even a day later the problem still occure, ive phoned mtn self and locked a query recieving a ref number. The day after (still the first week of having the phone) i went to another MTN store so again the technical people helped over the phone saying the phone must be sent in for a software upgrade the software is to old... How can the software be to old if the phone is a week old??? No man this either old stock MTN is giving away or another OBF!! This is really poor service since im a contract holder of 6 phones at MTN for more than 13Years!! So still no one came back to me about the query its now the 3 week going to 4th week of having this phone. Whats the use paying all the money for the upgrade but cant even use the new phone?? And no one comes back with answers so tired of this service!!!
