My 17/01/2013 has a new charge for Postage Fee, a charge that effectively changes my contract, of which I was never advised.
Due to postage delays, I only saw this account a week ago. I phoned the call centre on 17 February and was informed that all clients were sent an sms regarding the new charge. My contract is a data contract and as such I do not receive text messages on my Autopage simcard number. Surely a competent company would know that sms notification will not reach all its clients. It does have various other means to contact all clients, but pursued none!
I then requested that my accounts be e-mailed to me and they had my correct e-mail address on their system. I have just received my e-mail account for 17/02/2013 - and the postage fee of R8.33 plus VAT is charged once again.
Autopage: This service is pathetic! Firstly you did not make an effort to advise me of the new charge or the options; then when I exercise the cheaper option, you do not remove the extra charge from my account. I therefore request that you refund me two month's of postage fee plus VAT and desist from further such charges to my account.
