NO notification on a R5000 bill!

I have been with Vodacom for YEARS and have had a 2 GB data bundle for a total of 4 years, having NEVER exceeded my R149/month 2GB. However, this month I am currently sitting with a bill of R5292.89!! I have no idea how I managed to use so much data in half a month but regardless of that, I was NOT notified until I received an sms on the 18th February at 3pm stating that; "Unusually high usage has been detected on your cellular number exceeding R5192.39." As already mentioned, I have never spent more than R149 per month so a bill of R500 would be unusual NOT R5192.39!!! Why did they wait SO long before notifying me?
I then went into Cresta Vodacom to look at my contract and it states that Vodacom will notify me at 50%, 70% and 90% usage of my 2GB data bundle and that I have a cap of R2500! I was NEVER notified and am now sitting with a horrendous bill! I have spoken to every Vodacom department and NOT ONE person has been willing to go (even slightly) out of their way to help me!!! NO CUSTOMER SERVICES AT ALL!!! AND WHAT ABOUT THE CLIENT PROTECTION ACT??? WHAT PROTECTION??? I have asked for a detailed billing statement and even THAT hasn't been sent to me!!!
