Insurance not paying

I signed a contract in 2011 for two new phones on a contract at Autopage Menlyn. One was under a Autopage number, the second one was a pay-as-you-go. The consultant told me that it is better to insure both phones, so we insured the contract phone for R1500 (R37.72 pm) and the Blackberry for R3000 (R48.25 pm). 10 days ago, my phone was in Menlyn, and I reported it immediately in order to claim insurance to replace my blackberry. At the branch, they phoned Lana (insurance), and she said that they made a mistake, they were not suppose to sell insurance to me for the pay-as-you-go phone, but because it was Autopage who made the mistake, they will still replace my blackberry. I did everything she asked, and then they said it will be finalized in 3 working days. Yesterday, after waiting for a week, I called the area manager, Jack. Now they say that they can only pay back the insurance money I already paid, but they will not replace my phone. According to them, my phone is not insured for R3000, but only for R1200 that the old phone is worth now. Who will take out insurance at R50 x 24 to only get R1200, you take out insurance to be able to replace your phone!
