I tried to open a new cellphone account and after the credit check went threw they still wanted me to do a security check. I understand why, but what I don't understand is why they ask questions like what was my previous home number when I've been living in the same house for the past 20 years. Other questions included how long I've had my credit-card account. These questions has nothing to do with my ability to pay my account. I've been with Vodacom for the past 10 years and never missed a payment. Because of these types of questions I failed the test 5 times... although I answered all the questions correct to my knowledge. Now Cell C are launching an internal investigation on me and I would like to know in writing what your findings are.
