I called vodacom's upgrade number to find out if i can do an early upgrade on 2 of my lines as the phones are quite old and giving problems with the batteries, etc .. my upgrades are due 1st week april so its about a month and a half earlier but the consultant just says its not possible without even speaking to a supervisor or something.. they will not go that little out of their way to help a customer.. i have 5 lines with vodacom and even that means nothing to them.. a couple years ago i had a contract with a "smaller" network and when i called in to find out about my upgrade which happenned to be due a month later, i simply asked if i could do the upgrade then and after some consultation with a senior person at the network i was able to do the upgrade immediately -- now that is service!! personally in future i would not recommend vodacom to anyone .. anyway i was given an e mail address now to request an early upgrade but doubt it will happen seeing just how much vodacom values their customers..
