I just want to sign my new contract already

On the 21'st of January 2013 I received a sms from CellC to let me know that I am due for a new phone and I can pop into my nearest CellC store for the best deals in town. I currently have 2 contracts with CellC, 1 being a data and the other a Red Bull Mobile contract which is now coming to an end of it's 24 month period. I was actually considering jumping ship to another mobile provider at the end of my RBM contract until I spotted a new contract deal at CellC which interested me. I decided to stick with CellC based solely on the mentioned contract but am starting to regret my decision due to the fact that it has been so difficult to port over to a new contract. I phoned The Glen branch of CellC to see what is needed to sign up on to the new contract which I was I interested in. They told me I would need to fill in a cancellation form for my current contract which I have now done. I have been told that my contact cancellation will only take place in a months time from my application to cancel my current contract. How do I know if the contract deal I am currently interested in will be available next month? Shouldn't CellC be doing their utmost to try keep me and not chase me away??
