10 years later and still no ADSL line!

After applying for a Telkom ADSL line continuously over the past 10 years we still dont have one! we were told that there is no infrastructure available in our area - although there have been a number of complexes built around us and they have ADSL! our neighbours on both sides of the street have both been given a line in the last few months (applying late last year) - but we get given the same story over and over again - no infrastructure!
we are living in an area that has very little cell phone coverage and as a result the Voadacom and MTN 3G signal keeps dropping - even with a 3G Cell Booster.
Telkom sales keep phoning us to offer us an ADSL but they can never deliver!!!
we now have a son who has just started university and he urgently needs internet access - its not like we are living in the middle of the stix! Maybe Telkom should take some of the R34 Million spent on advertising and use it to keep their current customers happy and upgarding their current infrastructure. I have sent this same request via the Telkom website but have had no response nearly 2 weeks later!
