Frustrated with Cellc's pathetic service

My mom, a pensioner, ordered a Blackberry 9320 from CellC direct. As we had taken this phone out of the box it was damaged. The handset switched off every now and again and a full battery lasted two hours. My mum called Cellc direct and a call centre agent said she should take the phone in to any Cellc store. We tooK the phone to the Sandton City Cellc store and it's been three weeks now but we have not heard from then. I went through to to the store today and an employee at the store says the open box failure application was rejected due to physical damage. My mum still has no phone and is being charged for this. I find this allegation absurd as the phone was in sparkling new condition when we handed it back in. To my absolute frustration I can no longer get through to any one of the incompetent call centre agents to cancel this contract. All I want to do is cancel this contract. Please. That's all. I want to get my mum out of this.
