I noticed that on my Cell C Business 400 January account, I have been charged R6.15 per day from 20-31 December! I queried it with Cell C and was told:- ' Kindly be advised that Opera is a content service of which they are charging you R6.15 per day. We cannot see when and how did you subscribe.
Please call OPERA INTERACTIVE 084 194 5555 Mon-Fri 8am-5pm to stop it.'
I was unable to get through on this number and got an automated reply to my email. I am concerned that I will find daily charges for the whole of January and now, February! I have no idea who Opera Interactive is or what a content service is either. I will attempt to contact them again on Monday.
How can one become subscribed this way without one's permission? How can they debit my account on my cell C debit order?
Please advise what I can do to recoup this money?
