Cell C- poor customer service and unaccountability

I purchased the Cell C prepaid data package on the 16/7/2012 which is valid for 12 months. I upgraded my PC to Windows 8 in January and since then have been unable to use my Cell C sim card to connect to the internet. I contacted "customer care" who put me through to technical support- he said I need to upgrade the software on my modem and had to do this at a Cell C store.

I went to the Northgate branch and they said the software had not been developed yet and that NONE of their modems are compatible with Windows 8. I went to the Fourways branch to request a refund for the remaining 7 months on my package.

They said its entirely my fault and my responsibly and could not offer me a refund. I had been using Cell C for a year and half before this and never had any problems, I would not have purchased the data deal again if I had known this would be their attitude if things go wrong!! Cell C is NOT for yourself, its 100% for themselves!
