Preposterous billing

2 months back I took out a contract for my 15 year old daughter (Galaxy S4 on Smart s) for R389.00 a month, my bill for each month was more than R1300.00, the ONLY charge apart from the usual fee is data usage (vodacom charges R2.00 per MB). There was no warning from anyone about data usage! After someone showed me the settings on the phone i realised that vodacom / samsung knowingly CONFIGURE THE PHONES FOR MAXIMUM DATA USAGE.

All internet used was application updates and system updates automaticly.

I tried solving the dispute over the phone... NO ONE HELPS, RATHER PLACES YOU ON HOLD OR FORWARD YOU TO ANOTHER USELESS operator! In store they all shrug and stare at you with COLD DEAD EYES!

This is EXTORTION!!! There is no warning that by default settings your phone will bankrupt you!

Neither me or my daughter is good with technology as is allot of people! THIS CANT GO ON!

I will not pay for data i did not use.
