Autopage has been charging us a 'cash fee' of R15 per month. This is just another way of making money. Why? I pay my account via EFT, it is no different from a debit order. The thing is, guys running their own business don't always have a paycheck that comes in at the end of the month. To have debit orders, does not make sense, I sometimes have to waiting for my clients to pay me and every debit order that bounce cost me R135 per transaction and therefore do I pay via EFT.By all fairness, if I do not pay my account on time, then you may charge me the R49 reconnection fee for payments after the due date, but if I pay my account on time, why do I have to pay more for a EFT transaction?
