Got a modem problem, for 5 months now I'm not able to connect to the internet, keeps on giving me error messages. Far from dealer, so went to dealer in Klerksdorp and the guy there said it can only be the software, he gives me new software. I still cannot connect. Phoned call centre to resolve problem. Lady (Melissa or something like that) says my simcard is inactive, what??? She says I should put the simcard in a phone once every week or so, but my point is, it's a data simcard, so that tells me it should stay in modem?! So I put it in a phone, left it in for about almost 3 hours, connected to internet on phone. When I put the simcard back in modem it still doesn't work. So now I lost - 5 months of FREE DATA, why??? Why wasn't I told to do this when I got the simcard??? So now I lost all this free data, really unfair, coz it isn't my fault!!?? Eish Vodacom, nice going! Another problem is, I struggle with signal in my area, so even when I do connect to internet, it throughs me off the whole time, quite irritating when you want to get something done! Lost 'free data' for nothing. Getting tired of Vodacom!!!
