I am at my wits end with Telkom. It's been almost a month since I placed my order for an ADSL line. Lines are available etc, but every time I contact them there is a different excuse, from no lines to busy with a project (which by the way was completed September 2013). They will only expedite installation if it's for a business. The fact that I have a part time business running form my house is apparently not enough. Telkom is expecting me to wait 6 months, they promised me on several occasions to call me back but they don't. If pre-installation service is this bad, what will the service be like when I eventually get the line? No thanks to the service that Sophy, Mellie, Penelopy etc tried to give me, still waiting for them to call me back. Disgusted is the only word that comes to mind. This exactly why Telkom should not have the fixed line monopoly!!!
