I took out a Iphone 5 contract in February of 2013 and all was well until my Iphone's primary mic stopped working. I took my phone in to be repaired, it was sent away for 3 weeks, after which the phone was returned unchanged. It was sent away again and replaced 2 weeks later. The new Iphone 5 lasted a month before the camera and flash stopped working, long story short 3 weeks later another replacement. 2 Weeks later the new iphone stopped picking up the simcard. This last Iphone was sent away for 2 week and returned with no changes, it is currently "being repaired" or replace, but i will be without a phone for another 2-3 weeks. Mind you this is a phone that is not covered by my contract, i am paying extra for this phone. This has been one of the most frustrating experiences with Vodacom, and i fully blame the staff. They are not trained properly and will say anything just to get you out the door thinking that your device is in capable hands. I am currently still paying for a phone that I do not have, Vodacom and Apple have no interest in resolving this matter.
