Since I've moved to White River beginning of the year it has been one problem after the other with Telkom.

First just getting the line installed took more than a month. They kept coming up with new excuses every day why they can't do it. After about 10 visits to the Telkom store they finally figured out the real problem was only that the postal address was incomplete on the form. This was after I was given excuses such as "Infrastructure lacking", "Tools for Job need repairs" etc etc.

Now after much hassle, they told me my ADSL conversion would be done in 4 days. I got a SMS saying it would be done. After another couple of visits to the Telkom store after the due date, now apparently they are working on the exchange for another month.

A fun game I've learned to play is phone the Call Center and see how many different excuses they can come up with in the same day.

Pathetic service from beginning to end. Worst service I have EVER received. Ineffective, bloated and useless system.
