WE FORGOT TO DEBIT INSURANCE SO NO CLAIM

I activated my mtn acc last tear May, mid January this year both my phones were, i immediately reported to mtn where i was advised to bring ; CASE NR, AVIDAVIT, IMEI NR & BOTH PHONE BOXES. After bringing all this in, I received a call 3 days later from the branch I submitted my insurance claim, they confirmed that they got a call from insurance department saying I MAY NOT CLAIM INSURANCE CAUSE THEY FORGOT TO DEBIT MY ACCOUNT. I do have a copy of my cintract which states that my phone insurance will be active after 14 days. Nore I have never skipped payment & original contract is in their position leaving no reason why they neglected debiting.
Ive spoken ti a lawyer to is glad to take my case... for their sake i hope they do call me back as promised.
Im surprised how easy it is for them to say ThEY FORGOT To ACTIVATE INSURANCE CLAIM..BUT I WOULD BE BLACKLISTED IF I HAD SKIPPED A PAYMENT.
OR IS THEIR TAX COMISSION ON A PERCENTAGE OF PEOPLE MTN BLACKLISTS A YEAR??
