Cancelled contract

Cancelled contract by giving 1 month notice after expiry of the 24 month period due to dongle. My account was debited for 2 months after notice of cancellation which apparently was not logged on the system. No response to an e mail as a follow up to aa call to the service centre in july 2012. No further debits to my account however payment profile reflects account outstanding. Totally unacceptable as no services used from March when dongle was and April (notice month) May (charged over the notice period) as per agreement. June I have returned payment as "payment stopped being payment for 2 months after notice period. Incompetent service agent advising me that I'm not allowed to cancel yet the consumer protection act protects this very same behavior to re-instate a contract outside the agreement period. This is now effecting my credit record and will seek legal advise to claim for damages suffered and report Altech autopage to the credit regulato
