Customer for over 10 years and NOT impressed

Arriving at CellC in davenport, you can feel the tension, low moral and poor customer satisfaction lingers in the air.
Needing a sim swap for my new iPhone, i ask for the price and whip out the R100 needed to convert from "micro sim"to "nano sim".

Catherine, "the obviously unintelligent with the law of the country manager", informs me that my drivers licence is not a good enough form of identification for a sim swap. It is good enough to open a bank account, to apply for my bond, to get my car finance, yet not good enough for a sim swap.

The general lack of scruples leaves me concerned for my future within Cell C. If this is the lack of professionalism and general customer retention attitude, then i am definitely going to ditch my over 10 years of loyalty and rather pay for a better service provider.

To cut a longer story short, I eventually got a sim swap, for the cost of R10 for the card, and R50 debited off my next bill, just by answering security questions telephonically. where as she could have just looked at my drivers license and seen my picture, compared my ID number to the one on the system or asked me some of the questions herself.

Overall, im not impressed!!!
