On the 4th January 2014 i sent my IPhone5 in for repairs at Altec Autopage in Estcourt .i was told the repair would take two to three weeks. On the 17th of January I was contacted to say my phone is back from the repair center and is ready for collection. I traveled the 40 km to go and fetch my phone and eas assured it had been repaired. On my arrival at home I inserted the sim card only to find that the phone had not been repaired. i then contacted the owner of the store who intern contacted the repair center who informed him that nothing had been done on the phone because the function"find my i phone" was active. I feel strongly that staff should be better trained when dealing with customers and making sure that simple things like this are explained prior sending a phone in for repairs. the phone has again gone in for repairs and has been with the repair center for two weeks now. i phoned the owner of the store who says the phone is at the repair center and could not give me any indication as to when the phone would be repaired. I am totally disgusted with the way the whole process has been handled and would not recommend anyone support a company with such bad service.
