Absolute Nightmare service. I called the call centre on 24-12-2013 to migrate from Smart L package to Red Advantage package and I was informed that my handset fee would be included in the subscription of R999. Which I was delighted about because for R999 a month the handset should be on the package. I received my bill notification via sms and queried the amount with the call centre on 30-01-2014 to find out I am being charged a handset fee additional to the R999 subscription. When I received my quote in December, Quotation number : 1438162, the consultant assured me that I could revert to my previous package at no extra cost. Now Vodacom wants to charge me R4000. This isn't ethical on Vodacom's part. I feel that this violates CPA.
My expectation is for either Vodacom to include my handset instalment in the R999 subscription or revert to a the orignal package without additional costs.
I would be happy to return the handset and cancel my contract altogether if Vodacom is unwilling to provide me with customer service that I deserve for being a loyal subscriber for the last 14 years across different numbers.
Extremely dissatisfied.
