I want a response asap.
My old cellphone number before it was hacked and an unauthorised ported to cell c was ###. i then got a new number, new phone and new contract with the number ###.
My Fnb bank account was hacked through my phone 2 weeks ago and they took a substantial amount of money and used it to buy airtime.
My Mr Price money account and they took a substantial amount of money and used it to buy airtime.
My Standard bank account and they maxed out my credit card, all the transactions used to buy airtime.
I have been with Vodacom for over 15years on the same number (the one i have now lost) and then i get a new number, new phone (iem number) new contract and they clone/hack me again and take control of my new number???
How does this happen?
How did they do a sim swop on my number? don't they need my details and ID?
I want answers from either Vodacom FNB or Standard bank, are your services not supposed to be secure??? isnt that what you advertise!!
