Shocking bill on my data

I took a contract with vodacom for wifi 3G in july 2012, ever since i took the contract i have bben paying not more that R200, not i receive a bill of 1400 for data usage in the month where i cant even remember being on the internet for more that 5hours, there were times in the previous months where i will run out of data (3 Gig) and i will get a notification that my data has been depleted, then i will wait for the next month, now i get a bill of 1400. where is this amount coming from. when it took the contract in store i asked the sales person to set a limit of R600 since im geting an allowance and to my shock they told me that there is limit set, the limit was only set yesterday when i spoke to the consultant. This is very dissapointing and since it was a store Its their word against mine coz there is no recorded call or any proof. I am very disturbed ny this and i just wish this contract will end so that i will cut ties with voda on this. How can i pay R200 for over a year and the 1 month i wake up to a bill X7. nothing makes sense and will not put this matter to rest up until i get a proper explanation on my data usage.i paid yes but need an explanation
