Vodacom
Breach of CPA

I opened a contract at Cellucity on 03/09/2013, I decided to go for a Xperia Z however when i got home and opened the box I realized that i had made the wong decesion as I was unimpressed with the quality of the phone. I returned to the store on the 04/09/2013 hoping to exchange the phone for something more suitable such as the Galaxy S4, to my surprise I was denied my right of a cooling off period or buyers remorse. The store manager Cornel Botha refused to exchange the device saying that his store is NOT CPA compliant. Also pointed to the fact that I saw a plastic version of the phone that I should've been able to check the quality? Only he knows how I was meant to check screen, video, camer and sound qaulity with a plastic demo phone? I have mailed the CEO and GM who are just refusing to respond? Why was the CPA even introduced if these people can just go on as they did before the act came into place. I have contacted the NCR and am patiently wating their assitance. If anyone is planning on getting a new cellphone contract, DO NOT OPEN ONE AT CELLUCITY TYGERVALLEY CAPE TOWN, you will regret it. I am posting this under vodacom as Cellucity is a contracter for them.
