I had a Vodacom contract which I ended last year November, according to vodacom they tried debiting my last instalment end of November or December but there were no funds in my account.

According to me I did not own Vodacom any money and that my contact had been cancelled by me, until this year June when, ABSA advised me that Vodacom has placed a default on my name.

I immediately contacted Vodacom who advised that they have sent me notices (they haven't supplied me with proof thereof), they also advised that they posted statements. Bare in mind that their way of communication with me was via email and cell phone sms, I did not receive an email or an sms, neither have I received a letter advising me that I have an outstanding amount due to them.

The guy I spoke to at Vodacom advised that the system shows that they sent me letters. I spoke to another lady in their accounts department who advised that they cannot supply me with proof that I was notified of my debt before I was listed.

I WANT THE LISTING REMOVED OR I WILL TAKE THIS TO THE OMBUD!!!
