I was phoned and told that I qualify for an upgrade and that I fall in a certain bracket of upgrade and was going to receive a specific phone. They then proceeded to process the upgrade and send the new model of phone via the post. I then tried calling in to cancel this upgrade but was told that in fact I am only due for an upgrade in January 2014. I then tried to make sure that this "upgrade" i was notified about was cancelled. I have not received a new phone, however, I have received a statement for this upgrade with an amount of R452.99 for a phone and upgrade which i do not have! I have also been billed for an upgrade charge! Every time i call customer service, my call is transferred to several other operators and eventually the line gets dropped! This is totally unacceptable. I do not work to get paid money that will get deducted for something do not even have! Mtn is being totally ridiculous! I demand service!
