Horrible service - Brand new device

I've recently upgraded my Blackberry contract with Vodacom. It is a 9790 and barely a month old. The battery started heating up for no apparent reason. The battery doesn't heat up when I'm using the phone or charging the phone. It heats up when it's not even in use! I called the contact Centre on Thursday 21/03/2013 and the agent told me that my battery is still under warranty for a year from the date of upgrade and I would be able to get a new battery at the Repair Centre at Cresta Shopping Centre. The agent also said the device is still under warranty for 2 years from the date of upgrade so I should be able to get it fixed should something happen to the device. Great! So off I go to the repair Centre today just to be told by a very uninterested woman that the device must go into repairs for a week! I will not get a replacement phone to use as they have none left and should I need to back up my files on the phone with Vodacom, I must pay for that! Useless and absolutely horrible service. I'm taking out the SIM card as we speak because I no longer want to be associated with Vodacom and their awful service.
