I renewed/upgraded my contract (my wifes phone) with Vodacom end October 2012 - phone number 082 789 4590. The new phone is a Samsung Ace, and has since then never worked properly for more than 7 days. The problem is that it does not receive any calls and SMS messages. When using the sim card in the old phone everything is fine. Since 1 November the phone has been booked in for repairs Vodacom Cresta Repairs as follows: 1 Nov '12 Job number 8290888, 20 Nov '12 Job number 8347394, 27 Nov '12 Job number 8367366, 30 Nov '12 Job number 8347394, 5 Dec '12 Job number 8390856, 12 Jan '13 Job number 8496513 and 2 Feb '13 Job number 8566584. The times inbetween give an indication how long Vodacom took to attend to the problem. The phone is to date not working and still with Vodacom
