Hi, I purchased a 24 hour data bundle using my loyalty points. I received an sms to state that I have successfully purchased the bundle. I then checked my data bundle balance to double check that it was loaded, and it was there. I started downloading, then left for work. 9 hours later I got home, to realise I received another sms from MTN stating I need to activate the bundle. This sms came through 11 minutes after I had purchased. I downloaded 9 gigs of data in total. Why does this sms not come through immediately and why does it not state that the bundle needs to be activated. Had I received this message immediately or had it stated not activated by my data bundles, then this would have not occurred. Considering it's R2/mb out of bundle, my phone bill is probably going to be well over R18000 because of their mistake. Can someone please help me?
