Received a call from a lady who said to call on behalf of Vodacom. She knew that I was due for an upgrade, on which contract, how much I called on average and from which mobile nr. Than i received a SMS from Elite Mobile. Question: How did she (Elite Mobile) obtain my landline number and details from Vodacom. Is Vodacom selling their database to Elite Mobile or did Elite Mobile my private information from Vodacom? And why did she not say that she called from Elite Mobile... Unethical.
